Bob Archuleta, MD, FAAP
Bob Archuleta, MD, FAAP
Dr. Archuleta received his medical degree from the University of Colorado and is board certified in Pediatric Medicine. In 2004 he received certification in Hospice and Palliative
Medicine and was recertified in 2012. He was recently honored and inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, one of only a few pediatricians in the
country to have earned that distinction.
Dr. Archuleta received the President’s Award from the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics for founding Noah’s Children, a pediatric hospice program that offers
hospice, palliative care, and bereavement support to children and families. He was also awarded the Distinguished Service for Ministry to Children Award by the Richmond Academy of
Medicine in 2000. Dr. Archuleta has served as Medical Director of Noah’s Children for 18 years. He has been listed in the “Best Doctors of America” for the past ten years. Dr. Archuleta
was listed as a “Top Doc” by Richmond Magazine in 2019. Dr. Archuleta also served as Bundy Professor and Chair of Community Pediatrics at VCU for a two-year appointment, during which time
he led the development of VCU’s Department of Pediatrics Palliative Care and Pain Management Program.
Dr. Archuleta has practiced at Pediatric Associates for almost four decades.
Ann Cothran, MD, FAAP
Ann Cothran, MD, FAAP
Dr. Cothran received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and became a “double Hoo,” receiving her medical degree from their School of Medicine. She completed her residency
in Pediatrics at Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. During her time at Duke Children’s, Dr. Cothran received the Appleseed Award for her mentorship and teaching of medical students.
Originally from Midlothian, she and her husband enjoy jogging, reading, biking, and spending time with family.
Tracey Deal, MD, FAAP
Tracey Deal, MD, FAAP
Dr. Deal has practiced at Pediatric Associates PC for over two decades. She received her medical degree from the University of Virginia, her residency at VCU’s Medical College of Virginia, and is
board certified. Dr. Deal participates in the Preceptorship mentoring program for medical students and pediatric residents and has served as Assistant Clinical Processor of Family Medicine
and Pediatrics at MCV and VCU. She is a board member of the Commonwealth Parenting Community educational for parents. Dr. Deal is listed in the “Best Doctors of America.” She enjoys tennis,
swimming, reading, and spending time with her two children.
Tim O’Neil, MD, FAAP

Dr. O’Neil resides in Powhatan, Virginia with his wife, Tammy and three of their five children, Patrick, Brennan and Kimberly. Their older daughters, Jessica and Shannon have matured and
left the nest for the real world. Tammy and Tim are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first granddaughter in the late spring of 2016. They have two cats and a dog. Dr. O’Neil has practiced
at Pediatric Associates for over two decades and is board certified in Pediatrics. A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. O’Neil received his undergraduate degree at UVA in Chemistry and his medical
degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his pediatric residency at MCV as well where he served as Chief Resident of Pediatrics. Dr. O’Neil was awarded several teaching awards
from MCV for his contributions in the Preceptorship mentoring program for medical students and pediatric residents. He has served as Chief of Pediatrics at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital for
six years. Dr. O’Neil has been named “Best Pediatric Doctor” in the Richmond magazine and recently received an award for best bedside manner from the publication Our Health Richmond. Dr. O’Neil
has always enjoyed watching his children play sports, golf and spending time with his children.
Dominick Pastore, MD, FAAP
Dominick Pastore, MD, FAAP
Dr. Pastore has practiced at Pediatric Associates PC for over two decades. He received his medical degree from VCU’s Medical College of Virginia and is board certified in Pediatric Medicine.
Dr. Pastore participates in MCV and VCU’s Preceptorship mentoring program for medical students and pediatric residents. He has served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine and
Pediatrics at MCV and VCU and is a past President of the Richmond Pediatric Society. With his wife and four children, Dr. Pastore enjoys organizing youth sports, skiing, and time with family.
Carrilynn Sykes, MD, FAAP

Dr. Sykes received her medical degree at VCU’s Medical College of Virginia, and completed her residency at the school. She participates in MCV and VCU’s Preceptorship mentoring program
for medical students and residents, and is board certified in Pediatric Medicine. A native and resident of Goochland, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their three children, church
activities, and cooking. Dr. Sykes is an avid Redskins fan.
Victoria Barnes, FNP-C

Ms. Barnes earned her BS in Nursing from VCU and her MS from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Virginia
Council of Nurse Practitioners. A registered nurse for VCU Medical Center for almost a decade prior to joining Pediatric Associates, she and her husband live in her native Midlothian with their two
children and their dog. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, sailing, and spending time outdoors.
Abigail Easter, CPNP
Abigail Easter, CPNP
Ms. Easter received her BSN from James Madison University and her MSN from VCU. And active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, she worked in urgent care and as a
registered nurse for in-patient pediatrics prior to joining Pediatric Associates in 2016. An ardent JMU Duke fan, she and her husband enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being
in the outdoors.
Jocelyn Kuhns, PA-C
Jocelyn Kuhns, PA-C
Ms. Kuhns received her BS in biology from VCU and her MS in PA studies from James Madison University. She also holds an MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins with a focus on Molecular Targets
and Drug Development. An active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, she joined Pediatric Associates in 2011. She participated in a variety of intramural sports while at JMU, and
now enjoys basketball, loves the beach, and looks forward to spending time with family and friends.

We provide prenatal care, hearing and vision exams, nutritional and educational services, and new patients are always welcome!
To schedule well child care appointments:
We ask that you call the office to schedule an appointment. It is best to schedule your child’s future appointment as you check out after each
visit. Scheduling in advance ensures a convenient day and time and your provider of choice. If you are late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.
If your child is sick:
Please call our office for an appointment as early as possible. Children with long-standing symptoms or medical problems that are not of an
urgent nature may be scheduled for another day. If you are late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.
