About Us

Huguenot Pediatrics has been specializing in infant, child, and adolescent healthcare in Richmond since 1990. Our physicians are all board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and follow current up to date guidelines in order to provide the best care for our patients.

About Patient Visits

  • Newborn Visits: Newborns should have their first office exam 1–2 days after discharge. Call our office to schedule.
  • Well-Child Visits: Annual checkups are recommended through the teenage years to monitor growth, update vaccines, and address health or social concerns.
    • Call at 9 AM, Monday–Friday to schedule.
    • Book your child’s next visit at checkout for the best availability.
    • Late arrivals may need to reschedule.
  • Sick Visits
    • Call early; phone lines open at 8 AM, Monday–Saturday.
    • Non-urgent concerns may be scheduled for another day.
    • Late arrivals may need to reschedule.
  • Co-Pay for Well Checks: If your child’s well check includes treatment for a separate issue, insurance may require a co-pay or deductible payment.

Beth Cullen

Beth Cullen
MD, FAAP

Dr. Cullen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she served as the vice president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Cullen joined Huguenot Pediatrics in 1997 and has been happily providing care to her patients since that time. She is an avid runner and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children.

Indra Kancitis

Indra Kancitis
MD, FAAP

Dr. Kancitis holds a Bachelor of Science from The College of William and Mary, a Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, and a Master’s in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her residency at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident of Ambulatory Pediatrics. Dr. Kancitis came to Huguenot Pediatrics after nearly 10 years as a faculty member at the VCU Children’s Hospital of Richmond.
Dr. Kancitis enjoys the outdoors, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Amanda Miller

Amanda Miller
CPNP

Mandy holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia, where she graduated magna cum laude, and a Master of Science in Maternal-Child Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia. Before nursing school, she was employed as a research assistant in the fields of endocrinology, cancer and immunology, and gastroenterology. She joined Huguenot Pediatrics in 2000.
She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and one daughter, including watching her sons play baseball and her daughter dance. She also enjoys gardening.

Kelli Rainey

Kelli Rainey
CPNP

Kelli is a board-certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, born and raised in Midlothian, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing in 2018. She has over six years of experience as a Registered Nurse, five of which were spent at KidMed Pediatric Urgent Care. Kelli received her Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University.

Kelli’s passions include newborn care, growth and development, guidance through adolescence, and parental support. She loves working in pediatrics because children are unpredictable, resilient, and bring pure joy. She is excited to join Huguenot Pediatrics and serve as a resource to her hometown community.

Kelli has been with her husband for 12 years, and they will soon welcome their first baby boy. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, adventuring with her English golden retriever, traveling, and exercising.
